A few weeks ago a good friend of mine text me saying, “I’m going to Switzerland, want to come?” My reply, “HELL YEAH!” It was an amazing trip, short enough to not get home sick, long enough to see the city of Zurich, enjoy some good food and wine and take tons of photos.
The architecture in Zurich is stunning! Buildings have been carefully updated, making sure to preserve the authenticity of old Swiss charm. The food is delicious! Everything from salads, to wine to ice-cream is extremely fresh and tasty. I was impressed with Zurich’s transportation system, buses, trams and trains run frequently and efficiently, getting around was a breeze.
Zurich is definitely the land of the luxe! People are well-dressed in high-end Euro brands. Aston Martins, Lamborghinis and Maseratis are a dime a dozen. And although most residents prefer biking as their main form of transportation, luxury isn’t comprised as bicycles are also top-of-the-line with brands such as Cannondale and Specialized.
One thing I love about Zurich is the amount of daylight we had while we were there. The sun would rise around 5am and set around 10pm!
